Last week, Ji and I were invited to a special screening and launch party of The Stinky and Dirty Show. The new animated series follows the adventures of best friends and unlikely heroes, Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader, a dynamic and hilarious duo of resourcefulness that learn when things don’t go as expected, asking “what if” can lead to success. The show is based on books by Jim and Kate McMullan.

I knew Ji would be into the show because she already loves watching our garbage truck come and pick up our trash and she enjoys playing with toy cars. However,  I was surprised when she started talking to the screen! She really loved it. While watching the two episodes that they shared with us, she exclaimed, “Oh, no!” “What!?” and “Yay” out loud. That’s a huge thumbs up coming from a two year old baby girl.

We both really enjoyed the launch party as well. It was held at The Grove and the décor, food and kids activities were very fitting. Who knew a stinky theme could be so cute?!

The Trash Pile Station was Ji’s favorite. She really enjoyed eating the “trash” that was dumped for the kids to collect in mini garbage bags.
