I’m an organizer by nature. I like to organize my home, my day to day activities and making sure I have plan A, B, and C in place! This is why I like to coordinate and organize events so much. It’s my passion. Coordinating does only mean that you are planning a party, renting venues and decorating. It all also entails thinking ahead of details that you might not want to think about. Details like a medical emergency. So how does one prepare for this? I learned Hands-Only CPR in case the unexpected occurs.

Hands-Only CPR can be performed on teenagers and adults and the life-saving steps are easy to remember.  I know it’s not something you want to think about but it’s a good skill to learn. We all need to be ready to jump into action to save the life of a friend, family member or even stranger.

The Anthem Foundation is creating awareness by supporting entities such as the American Heart Association so that they to can spread the word and teach the public about Hands-Only CPR. I recommend that everyone learn this technique. You can get a quick lesson by checking out this Hands-Only CPR training video by the American Heart Association.
