Back in November, my cousin threw a fun brunch and pajama party for her soon to be five-year-old daughter; who also happens to my goddaughter! With the weather being unpredictable in Los Angeles, she and I came up with the pajama party idea, so that if it rained, the party could easily take place in inside. Planning even the smallest of a get-together takes a lot of time and effort, so I decided to take pictures of all the little details so that the host could concentrate on making me some pancakes, entertaining and having fun with the birthday girl.

The day turned out to be a very hot one so the party took place outside. Her yard ended up being the perfect back drop for the casual get-together.

Every detail was very  shabby chic. I  fell in love with the vintage milk glass bottles.

There was a pancake and waffle buffet with fresh berries, walnuts, and delicious syrup.

The banner and the Pancake House stand are both my creations! Aren’t they cuuute?! I will have a step- by-step on how to make your own banner for less than $3! Coming soon. I promise!

Girl talk! Can you believe all the little ones in our family are all girls (with the exception of one boy). I missed a few that were running around but we have about 7 girls under 10. How cool is that?!

Jumper fun! It had a slide and a basketball hoop.

We also got treated to cake and cupcakes… Yumm!

Every detail came perfectly. I’m even thinking of stealing this idea and throwing my Ji a pajama party for her third birthday!

In fact, I really appreciate all of the time and love that people take to make everything perfect for their kids. If you are that parent and are planning or if you recently threw a creative party for your little one, I would love to feature it on L.A Mamacita ! Send me an email to losangelesmamacita@gmail.com for more details.

Love,
